Indian Wars Piped Wool Shirt

We have made this for the authentic reenactor in very fine 100% wool.

The 1882 pullover shirt was an attempt to get back to the old style shirts after the 1881 open front shirts and being reported in the field with general favour with the introduction of two front pockets and rubber buttons and branch of service piping around the collar, cuffs and pockets

Between 1866 and 1886 regulations stated that chevrons would only be worn on dress coats and fatigue coats only and never on shirt sleeves.
